executive with a track record of successful P&L responsibility, execution and implementation,
focused on driving transformation, team building and culture change. Excellent experience in
working with government institutions, private sector firms and regulators. The preceding is
complimented by his business valuation skills which can unleash value to clients requiring
expertise in portfolio investments, private equity or mergers & acquisition transactions.
His track record includes leading a team, as the CEO of NDB Wealth Management, to build Sri
Lanka’s most successful private-sector asset management firm, with assets under management of
over USD 1 Billion.He holds a BS in Management Information Systems and an MBA from the University
of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, USA. His 25+ years of experience Financial Services
is complemented by his education and professional training in Sri Lanka, USA, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Director
Sarrani Arseculeratne brings both oversees and local expertise having worked in a variety of roles in
management, research analytics and financial services. She commenced her career as a young
graduate with the Asian Development Bank and the Ministry of Finance on of its biggest fiscal
management and restructuring projects in Asia, involving the business process reengineering and
automation of Sri Lanka’s Inland Revenue Department as well as the entire operations of the
Ministry of Finance. She then ventured into working for General Electric (later Latitude Financial
Services (Pvt) Ltd) in Melbourne Australia in a client advisory and credit management capacity.
On her return to Sri Lanka she served as General Manager for the Tissa Jinasena Group which
included overseeing of the group’s financial and legal functions of the 11 private limited companies,
companies limited by guarantee and trusts in the group.
Sarani brings to the CCL team this vast expertise and hands on experience gained in multiple fields
including investment, financial services, law and research and analysis.
Sarrani graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics from The University of Melbourne
Australia and has also gained a LLM in International Business and Commercial Law from the
University of West London with focus on the impact of International Law on investment into Special
Economic Zones.

Director
Tharaka Gunawardana brings with her a wealth of legal knowledge and experience in the areas of corporate and investment law, specialising in regulatory and governance practices which enables her to manage setting and operationalizing of businesses in wide array of sectors.
Her work at Capital City Law enabled her to grow and develop her skills, with time spent working alongside seniors in legal advisory roles. She possesses in-depth knowledge in corporate structures and excels at research and analysis in both legal and regulatory areas.
Her most recent research contribution was assisting in the structuring of the Colombo Port City Commission Act. This places her in an advantageous position to assist the team structure investment solutions for prospective investors in related investments.
She served in the business and strategy development team at CHEC Port City Colombo Private Limited and continued on to complete her Masters in Law in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of West London her focus being International Business Structures. She also contributes and adds much strength to the CCA legal advisory team with her familiarity on legal and governance aspects of corporate and investment law.
